Tracking
CCRi has developed improved tracking applications by employing explorative data analysis techniques and constructing models that use the data in novel ways and that include a wide variety of spatial and temporal parameters. We improve the accuracy of our tracks by incorporating contextual information into the model.
In our work on a U.S. Navy airborne radar tracking system, we devised algorithms that significantly improve maneuver detection—a key issue in producing accurate tracks—and eventually developed a tracking algorithm that successfully uses a single motion model on a variety of targets, whether they are maneuvering or not.
